Attention Jacksonville fans – what you need to know about Saturday’s game

Gates Open at 4.45pm. Curtain Raiser game between the New Zealand Blue Thunder and the Presidents Barbarians starts at 5.30pm. National Championship starts at 7.00pm. with Joy Dennis singing the National Anthem and the New Zealand team performing a HAKA.

This venue is CASH only and the nearest ATM is in the UNF Arena. (5 min walk)

Venue: Soccer Field at UNF (Jacksonville) that is adjacent to Hodges Stadium. The venue has been upgrade with bleacher seating, new scoreboard and sound system.

Entry: Is through the gate that runs directly off parking Lot 18 (North Side of UNF)

Parking: Is in LOT 18. Easiest entry is off CENTRAL PARKWAY (North Entrance to UNF) and park near the road facing the field. Or enter from I-295 and turn LEFT at ECO DRIVE. (See her for map)

Cost: Walk up tickets are $12 CASH and kids 15 and under are FREE (Thanks to Republic Services)

Food and Beverage: There are full Concessions on sale at the venue. (No outside food/beverages/coolers can be bought into the venue)

Merchandise: Event T-shirts and other items from USA Rugby League teams will be on sale during the event

What to Wear: Casual Clothes and comfortable foot ware. (Heels not advised) You can bring in a small personal umbrella (only to be used in case of rain)

What else will be happening at the event: LOTS!! The Jacksonville Jaguars will be onsite offering great deals on Jaguars tickets / JaxArrest.com Axe Maidens will perform during the event / Great prizes to be won in the $1 Halftime Raffle / Various Give-Aways from a variety of vendors

Sponsors and VIP’s: Will be hosted in the SMARTER REMODELING and IDEAL CONDITIONS HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING Tent with food and beverages provided by Carrolls Meat Shoppe.

What to do you cannot make the game, but live in Jacksonville: The National Championship will be Televised LIVE on CW17, thanks for our partnership with IKNOWJAX.com. (Please visit their site for great things to see and do in Jacksonville) Of course you are missing 90% of the “feeling” of Rugby League by not seeing it live!!

What to do if you don’t live in Jacksonville: Both the New Zealand vs. Barbarians game and the National Championship games will be streamed LIVE.
